Patriotismo Natural. Ensaio Filosófico

Resumo: Na concepção filosófica, patriotismo é um tipo especial de lealdade para com a nação, do mesmo modo que todas as demais lealdades que resultam das relações naturais e sociais em que estamos envolvidos. Pensando assim, o objetivo desse ensaio é lançar luz sobre a ideia de patriotismo e fazer um contraponto ao entendimento de que o sentimento patriótico é antinatural, irracional e prejudicial, sendo a causa do grande mal que sofre a humanidade. Palavras-chave: Patriotismo, nacionalismo, etnia, imigração Summary: In the philosophical conception, patriotism is a special type of loyalty towards the nation, in the same way as all other loyalties that result from the natural and social relationships in which we are involved. With this in mind, the objective of this essay is to shed light on the idea of patriotism and provide a counterpoint to the understanding that patriotic feelings are unnatural, irrational and harmful, being the cause of the great evil that humanity suffers.
