Transcending Time Through the Gateway Process: A Summary and Administrative Proposal for Post-Statutory Grievance Resolution
This essay summarizes the speculative interdisciplinary work Does the Gateway Process Allow Time Travel? by Alexander Ohnemus, which theorizes that advanced brain-computer interfaces and interhemispheric neural synchronization could enable backward time travel through the creation of alternate timelines without paradoxically altering the past. Building on this summary, the essay proposes administrative mechanisms to address grievances that fall outside traditional statutory limitations. These mechanisms draw from the book’s conceptual framework—particularly its emphasis on alternate timelines, consciousness continuity, and neurological interfaces—to envision restorative, multi-dimensional channels of grievance redress. The essay concludes with ethical and practical considerations for implementing such channels within contemporary administrative and legal infrastructures.
