Abstract Democracy has evolved over millennia as a primary system of governance, yet modern democratic systems face structural vulnerabilities that threaten stability and efficacy. This paper integrates Angelito Malicse’s Universal Formula Framework—comprising the Law of Karma (System Integrity), the Universal Law of Balance in Nature, the Universal Feedback Loop Mechanism, and the Universal Interconnected Nodes Principle—into an analytical framework for understanding and reforming democracy. Historical case studies, including Athens, Rome, the American and French revolutions, and modern democracies, illustrate how systemic defects, imbalance, weak feedback, and fragmented nodes lead to democratic decline. Comprehensive examples and policy recommendations demonstrate how aligning democratic systems with universal laws can restore resilience, fairness, and long-term sustainability.
