Generative General Methodology (GGM): Volume I
This work presents Generative General Methodology (GGM), a formal philosophical framework that investigates how structural organization can emerge from the minimal condition of givenness through successive stages of differentiation. Rather than beginning with pre-established entities, substances, or conceptual categories, GGM starts from the formal sequence This → X → Difference, treating Difference as the first explicit distinction from which subsequent structural development becomes possible. From this foundation, the framework develops a systematic sequence including Recursive Difference, Depth, MetaDepth, Formal Horizon, Structure, Structural Preservation, Structural Evaluation, and the Necessity Spectrum. It further examines how structures generate domains of possibility, become constrained through higher-order structural relations, and develop shared causal networks while preserving distinct centers of attribution. The overall architecture is organized around two complementary developmental trajectories: the Universalization River, which concerns structural formation, preservation, evaluation, and increasing necessity, and the Individualization River, which concerns difference recognition, presentness, attribution, subjectivity, and the emergence of individual identity. These trajectories converge within a unified Dual Limit Structure, providing an integrated account of both structural stability and individualization. GGM is intended as a formal conceptual framework rather than an empirical scientific theory. Its purpose is to clarify logical dependencies among fundamental philosophical concepts and to provide a coherent generative architecture that may serve as a basis for further philosophical analysis and interdisciplinary applications.
