Rethinking Time in Biology: Gravity as a Direct Controller of Change Rate
This work introduces a conceptual model in which gravity acts as a direct controller of biological change rate, offering a new perspective on how time is experienced within living systems. By examining theoretical growth differences of Neurospora crassa across reduced, normal, and increased gravitational environments, the study explores how gravity may accelerate or decelerate biological processes. The model aligns with existing microgravity observations while establishing a novel interdisciplinary link between physics and biology, positioning gravity as a fundamental regulator of biological dynamics.
