This study examines key philosophical categories in the understanding of time—movement, duration, and modes—from a phenomenological perspective. It proposes a hypothesis regarding the nature of temporality and the composition of temporal properties: "time is a synesthesia of various senses and their combinations that a priori create a special type of movement responsible for the generative processes of experience." The work examines the doctrines of Aristotle and the Neoplatonists, the theory of Henri Bergson, and the concepts of Charles Peirce. Husserl's phenomenology of time consciousness is key to both the methodology and the development of this hypothesis. The philosophical vocabulary developed by J. Deleuze is also used to explain and substantiate this hypothesis.
