This paper proposes the Connection–Order Mutual Constitution Theory (COMCT), a new structural ontology that resolves the contemporary impasse in ontology. COMCT takes connection and order as dual primitive categories, abandoning the dualism of substance and relation. Its core innovation lies in distinguishing the logical priority of connection from the real symbiosis of the two: connection generates order as the first ontological step, after which they form a generation–feedback constitution loop that drives recursive emergence and hierarchical upgrading. This generation-centered mechanism requires no presupposed substance or ungrounded structure. It dissolves the relation puzzle of substance ontology and the grounding regress dilemma of structural realism, while providing a unified ontological account for quantum mechanics, the emergence of life and mind, and AGI.
