Modern physics increasingly describes reality in terms of dynamical processes rather than static substances. This paper develops the concept of ontological continuity: the view that physical, biological, and cognitive phenomena differ not in substance but in organizational structure. Drawing on process philosophy and contemporary physics, the paper argues that scientific explanation relies on perspectival abstraction while the underlying reality remains continuous. Consciousness is therefore not a metaphysical anomaly but an emergent organization within the same continuous process that generates physical structure. This framework clarifies the relationship between physics, life, and mind and suggests a unified ontological basis for scientific explanation.
