OntoMotoOS 2.1: A Dreaming Meta-Operating System — Integrating Safe Creative Engines for Emergent AI and Civilization Evolution presents a fundamentally experimental and conceptual framework for the next generation of meta-operating systems. Building on the intellectual lineage of OntoLoop (recursive ontological process models) and OntoOmnia (meta-level ethical governance architecture), OntoMotoOS was conceived as a universal, mesh-based, recursively extensible meta-OS for artificial intelligence and digital civilization. OntoMotoOS 2.1 proposes a novel extension—the Kairos-Metis (KM) Dreaming Engine—designed to enable safe, generative leaps in self-evolving agents and digital societies. Key new components include the Metis Engine (for continuous hypothesis generation), the Kairos Protocol (for opportunistic triggering of creative exploration), and the Oneiros Sandbox (for sandboxed, high-risk ideation). The framework also introduces the Themis Filter for ethical pre-screening, dynamic diversity constraints, and rigorous quota/resource management, ensuring that creative exploration does not destabilize the system’s core integrity. Crucially, OntoMotoOS 2.1 should be understood as a philosophical and architectural experiment. No empirical deployment or technological validation is claimed or implied. Rather, this work aims to provoke rigorous debate on how recursive dialectics between rational order (Logos) and creative chaos (Mythos) might be encoded within the substrate of AI and posthuman digital civilization. All claims herein are speculative and intended as a contribution to ongoing philosophical inquiry into the ethics, structure, and future directions of artificial intelligence. By outlining this framework, the paper invites philosophers, computer scientists, and digital ethicists to critically engage with the idea of “dreaming operating systems,” and to consider the potential, risks, and philosophical implications of embedding creative emergence, ethical filtering, and meta-governance directly within the infrastructure of digital society.
