Open Source ↗
In contemporary daily life, individuals often report feeling ”tired” even in situ- ations where neither physical nor mental demands are significant. Such subjective expressions frequently occur in self-reports and everyday communication but do not always correspond to objectively measurable states. This discrepancy invites atten- tion from psychological and sociological perspectives and challenges conventional definitions and assessments of fatigue. The purpose of this study is to organize and examine instances of such subjective fatigue, explore the underlying cognitive and social factors, and provide foundational insights for improving the interpretation of self-reported data in both daily life and scientific investigations.
