Hume's Guillotine famously separates "Is" (Ontology) from "Ought" (Ethics). Selective Reality Theory (SRT) proposes a bridge across this gap through the concept of the d-value (Selection Scope). We argue that moral behavior is not a set of arbitrary rules but the natural topological expansion of the Ghost Operator ( ^Gθ). "Evil" is rigorously defined as Ontological Myopia (d → 0): the inability of an operator to include the existence of Others in its selection parameters. Conversely, "Compassion" is the high-d state where the distinction between Self and Other dissolves in the potential field (L0). This framework synthesizes Consequentialist calculus with Virtue Ethics' focus on character, grounding both in the thermodynamics of information selection
