Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) - ECOICOP ver.2 - indices and rates of change at constant tax rates, monthly data

The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices at constant tax rates (HICP-CT) is a variant of the HICP that measures inflation without the impact of changes in taxes on products. This dataset is compiled according to the European Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (ECOICOP, ver. 2), available in base years 2025=100 and 2015=100. This dataset includes three monthly indicators: the index; measuring the changes in relation to the tax rates from the previous year’s December, kept constant the annual rate of change, representing the percentage change in a reference month compared to the same month of the previous year the monthly rate of change, representing the percentage change in a reference month compared to the previous month. Both rates are calculated from the monthly HICP-CT indices. This dataset also includes the ‘Monthly rate differences between the HICP and the HICP at constant taxes’ indicator.
