Persons in part-time employment by work experience while studying and reason (2024)
The indicator measures the distribution of part-time employed people aged 20-34 with at least upper secondary education, broken down by reason of part-time employment, work experience during studies, sex and educational attainment level. The distinction between full-time and part-time work is generally based on a spontaneous response by the respondent. Work experience during studies refers to work experiences at a workplace in a market or non-market unit (i.e. in a company, government institution or non-profit organisation) that were part of the curriculum of the formal programme that led to the highest level of education successfully completed. The indicator is based on the EU Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS).
