Unemployment rate of persons with tertiary education by medium educational attainment qualifications (2024)

The indicator measures unemployment rate of people aged 20-34 with tertiary education, broken down by the type of medium-level educational qualifications completed either before or after obtaining their tertiary education. People are classified into two groups. Those who have completed - at least one formal qualification with a vocational orientation at the medium educational level - formal qualifications with general orientation only at the medium educational level. Unemployment rate is the number of unemployed persons as a percentage of the labour force (sum of employed and unemployed people). The indicator is based on the EU Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS) 8-yearly variables on "Young people on the labour market" surveyed in 2024.
