OROBORIS: A Structural Theory of Coherent Informational Organization and Conscious Nodes — Extended Version This paper is an extended version of a previous working paper introducing the OROBORIS framework. This extended version introduces conceptual refinements to recursive closure (Rᶜ), structural stability (Σ), and alignment (A), as well as their non-compensatory interaction. It further incorporates complementary structural descriptors, including generativity (G) and autocentrality (Cₐ), extending the framework’s ability to characterize the origin and internal distribution of coherent organization without modifying the core Ω formulation. This version also includes preliminary empirical analyses using EEG data, including ANOVA-based discrimination across physiological states, temporal alignment analysis, shuffle-based controls, and robustness analyses across multiple configurations.
