Manifesto of the Dao-Er Philosophy: The Primacy of the Dual over the Identical, and the Twofold Prior to the Supreme One

Chinese philosophy holds that the origin of the universe is fundamentally "twofold," not monistic. For millennia, both Chinese and Western metaphysics have been trapped in the monistic logic of "the One generating the many," falling into intractable dilemmas such as the paradox of origin, explanatory circularity, and systemic closure. This paper establishes a new system of Dao-Er philosophy to correct this deviation, reconstructing the ontological order: the primacy of the dual over the identical, the twofold prior to the absolute One, with the Dao evolving internally and transcending beyond itself. Taking the "twofold Dao" as the foundation of all existence, rooted in the tradition of yin-yang duality, the system achieves self-grounding, self-critique, and perpetual renewal through open self-reference. It establishes an ultimate transcendent ground in the "Dao beyond the Dao," and uses twofold intelligence to penetrate the underlying order of artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. With the structure of the True-One, True-Two, and the Triad, it unifies the domains of life, intelligence evolution, and cosmic existence. Without following old doctrines or enclosing itself in a closed loop, this philosophy stands on the root wisdom of the East, creating a new paradigm for modern Chinese philosophy. It connects the underlying logic of philosophy and science, constructing a stable, self-consistent, and infinitely growing philosophical foundation for future general intelligence, life sciences, and cosmic ontology. The Dao-Er philosophy is established, with pairs forming chapters; internal and external complement each other, and all things are renewed.
