Agapeic Relational Metaphysics - A Formal Argument.
This volume presents the complete formal argument of Agápēic Relational Metaphysics (ARM) in sequence, from a single primitive through thirteen derivation stages to a complete metaphysical architecture. The argument begins with a single transcendental observation — that determinate being requires relation — and derives, without supplementary mechanisms or theological premises, the following results: that the only relational mode capable of grounding determinate, intelligible, and free being without structural collapse is agápē (non-coercive, distinction-preserving, self-giving relation); that agápē requires real triadic plurality; that the ground is pure actuality whose intra-triune roles are constitutively and not externally defined; that creation is free rather than necessary; that creaturely freedom is a structural requirement of non-coercive grounding rather than a problem to be reconciled with it; that evil is the modal consequence of that same freedom rather than a rival principle or divine intention; and that Incarnation is metaphysically coherent as the maximal external expression of agápēic self-giving. The argument proceeds by exhaustive structural elimination. Four candidate relational modes — coercive, competitive, indifferent, and emanationist — are shown to collapse into one of four structural failure families: Monism, Dualism, Emptiness, and Determinism. Agápē is shown to be the sole survivor of this elimination. The stability of the resulting architecture is demonstrated: no weakening of its three constitutive constraints (necessary actuality, non-coercion, intrinsic relationality) and no known alternative primitive avoids collapse into one of the four failure families. The convergence of these results with classical theological conclusions is a consequence of the argument, not a premise within it. Every derivation step is traceable from determinate being through structural necessity alone; no confessional commitment, scriptural authority, or ecclesial tradition functions as warrant at any stage. This volume is the first of two companion documents. Volume 2 presents the running commentary: the load-bearing function of each paper in the architecture, the implications each stage establishes, and the strongest available objections with ARM's formal replies.
