Replication Protocol: CEF Operator Scaling Phenomena
This preregistered replication protocol outlines a structured observational study designed to test three core claims of the Core Emotion Framework (CEF): operator dominance, operator suppression, and operator fusion (entanglement). The protocol specifies a within‑subject, repeated‑measures design in which participants scale all ten CEF operators upward and downward, report ease of modulation, and provide qualitative descriptions of somatic and linguistic cues. Dominance is operationalized through ease of upward activation and resistance to downward scaling; suppression through difficulty generating upward activation, rapid downward scaling, weak or absent somatic cues, and conceptual rather than experiential descriptions; and fusion through cross‑operator language contamination and co‑activation. The protocol provides a transparent, reproducible methodology for independent researchers to evaluate whether these behavioral patterns emerge in new samples, enabling empirical assessment of CEF’s core mechanistic claims.
