Load Minimization Theory (LMT) proposes a fundamental shift in how we construct mathematical representations. Rather than pursuing classical mathematical rigor and precision, LMT prioritizes smoothness — the capacity to elegantly capture the dynamic, fluctuating flow of phenomena while maintaining appropriate mid-range resolution. This paper examines this principle through both theoretical discussion and concrete models, including a child’s heart stability model and a structural change rate model. We argue that smooth mathematical expressions resonate more naturally with human cognition, AI’s gradient-based architecture, and the primordial fluctuation of reality itself, ultimately leading toward gentler and deeper forms of An-soku.
