The Fermi Paradox has historically emerged from a seemingly unavoidable contradiction: if the universe is extraordinarily vast and statistically favorable to the emergence of intelligent life, why is humanity unable to observe clear evidence of advanced extraterrestrial civilizations? Traditional explanations generally oscillate between pessimistic scenarios — such as universal self-destruction, the rarity of intelligent life, or insurmountable interstellar distances — and highly speculative frameworks involving hidden civilizations or technological invisibility. This paper proposes an alternative philosophical interpretation grounded in simplicity, civilizational logic, and evolutionary ethics. The central proposition is that sufficiently advanced civilizations may consciously adopt a universal principle of non-interference toward emerging civilizations. Under this framework, the absence of direct contact is not paradoxical, but expected. The hypothesis further argues that advanced civilizations likely underwent developmental trajectories comparable to humanity’s own historical process: spiritual intuition, conflict, technological acceleration, existential crises, ethical maturation, and eventual civilizational stabilization. Consequently, such civilizations may recognize that authentic evolutionary growth cannot be externally imposed without fundamentally compromising the autonomy and identity of an emerging civilization. The resulting framework transforms the Fermi Paradox from a problem of absence into a consequence of advanced civilizational maturity.
