PART 287—RULES GENERALLY APPLICABLE TO POWERPLANT AND INDUSTRIAL FUEL USE Authority: Department of Energy Organization Act, 42 U.S.C. 7107 et seq.; § 287.101 Determination of powerplant design capacity. For the purpose of section 103 of the Powerplant and Industrial Fuel Use Act of 1978, a powerplant's design capacity shall be determined as follows: (a) Steam-electric generating unit. (b) Combustion turbine. (c) Combined cycle unit. (d) Internal combustion engine. (e) Sunsetting provisions.
