Divine Hiddenness as Mercy: Divine Silence is the only Psychologically viable Strategy for a Infinite God in a fallen world
The philosophical concept that God as a perfectly loving God would not allow unbelief to exist and persist, that he would reveal himself to humankind as an act of kindness to allow belief results in “non-resistant nonbelievers”. This is incompatible with the existence of a perfectly loving God. I instead argue that divine hiddenness, instead of being special pleading is the only strategy consistent with a loving God, and the observation that humans weaponize the ideas of superiority. I posit that this is supported by the Ideas of NT Wrights theology of covenant faithfulness, religious psychology from cargo cult studies and the modern ethics from the rise of super AI revelation analogies.
