Coherence Recognition Between Systems: A Formal Framework
Coherence Recognition Between Systems formalizes how agents detect, interpret, and respond to coherence across system boundaries. It provides the foundational entry point into Wave C by describing the downstream signatures of Objects 4–6 as they appear in inter‑system interaction: gradient detection, alignment thresholds, drift across carriers, and stabilization under tension. The framework shows how agents recognize coherence not through shared content or belief, but through compatibility of structural gradients and boundary conditions. This paper reframes recognition as a multi‑system process: agents identify external coherence by detecting invariant‑preserving patterns that persist across substrates. Recognition is therefore a structural event, not a cognitive or semantic one. By mapping how alignment, drift, and persistence become legible between systems, the framework establishes the minimal geometry required for understanding collective behavior, ecological coupling, symbolic propagation, and institutional reorganization. Coherence Recognition Between Systems serves as the structural foundation for all subsequent Wave C domains. It defines how coherence becomes visible across agents and systems, enabling downstream analyses of collective meaning, cultural formation, biological organization, and distributed reorganization.
