The body constitutes the primary foundation of human life, and the nervous system evolved fundamentally to preserve and protect it. From the earliest stages of development, the brain continuously interacts with the environment, caregivers, and lived experiences, gradually constructing patterns whose primary function is to increase the probability of survival. This paper proposes a conceptual framework suggesting that, beyond processing experience, the brain develops a set of Survival Rules. These rules become activated in different situations as Neural Judgments, shaping perception, emotion, decision-making, and behavior. Within this framework, many forms of psychological suffering are understood not merely as consequences of external events but as the result of conflicts among Neural Judgments. Each judgment may once have served an adaptive survival function, yet under changing life circumstances these judgments can become incompatible with one another. Consequently, the brain functions as a dynamic system that continuously generates, revises, and replaces judgments, a process that may underlie anxiety, guilt, indecision, dissatisfaction, and persistent inner conflict. The paper further argues that Observer Awareness, without suppressing the brain's natural activity, can fundamentally transform the individual's relationship with these judgments. From this perspective, inner peace begins when awareness no longer identifies itself with the judgments produced by the brain but instead recognizes them as natural products of its survival-oriented processes.
