Jesus as the Human Face of God: A Philosophical and Theological Interpretation ( Jesús, el rostro humano de Dios )
This essay offers a reinterpretation of Jesus of Nazareth by approaching him primarily through his lived human experience rather than through later doctrinal formulations. It proposes that the central significance of Jesus lies not only in his ontological status as the Son of God, but in the way he discovered, embodied, and lived a filial relationship with the Father within the conditions of human existence. From this perspective, Jesus is understood as a fully human subject who lived in freedom, uncertainty, and trust, gradually recognizing his identity as Son through a lived experience of faith. His unity with the Father is interpreted not as an abstract metaphysical statement, but as an existential and relational reality grounded in fidelity, love, and interior communion. The essay further develops a philosophical and anthropological framework in which the Kingdom of God is understood as a mode of life aligned with the divine will, and the Spirit as the interior presence that enables this transformation. Within this vision, human beings are invited to recognize themselves as children of God, making filial consciousness the foundation of human dignity, ethics, and relational existence. Ultimately, the text proposes that the Christian message is not primarily doctrinal or institutional, but experiential: a call to rediscover human life as participation in a living relationship with a sustaining and loving Father, revealed through the humanity of Jesus.
