In Martin Heidegger's later thought, the "event of appropriation" (Ereignis) designates a primordial structure within the history of Being (Seinsgeschichte) wherein human being and Being belong to one another in a reciprocal relation. Truth emerges in the sudden unconcealment of this belonging. Morteza Niami, with his theory of the "dynamic mask" and "ontological leakage," effects a fundamental rupture with this framework. This article poses the following question: can Niami's conceptual apparatus yield a novel reading of truth in which "distance" between subject and world constitutes the very condition for the possibility of any manifestation of meaning? Through a comparative-conceptual analysis—with reference to Heidegger's ontology, Gadamer's hermeneutics, Derrida's "trace," Deleuze's "becoming," and Foucault's technologies of the self—this article demonstrates that Niami's approach transforms philosophy from a "preparedness for the event" into a "practice of awareness of the fissure between masks." In this transition, death acquires meaning as the "final leakage"—the moment where the dynamic of concealment and unconcealment comes to a permanent halt. Keywords: Heidegger, Niami, Event of Appropriation (Ereignis), Dynamic Mask, Ontological Leakage, Difference, Reflexive Self-Awareness.
