Natural Civilization and the Cosmic Order
Contemporary human civilization stands at an unprecedented threshold: immense technological, cognitive, and material power coexists with structural fragility, ecological instability, and existential uncertainty. Crises that appear distinct—climatic, social, and epistemic—are manifestations of a single, deeper disorder: civilization’s misplacement within the cosmic order. This paper employs the Lao–Yang Genesis Cosmology to articulate the concept of Natural Civilization, situating human society within cosmic generation, ecological constraints, and process philosophy. Humanity is not the center of the universe; science and technology must remain subordinate to generative and ecological limits; civilization’s sustainability depends on self-restraint and participatory engagement. Five core dimensions of Natural Civilization are examined: non-centrality of the cosmos, non-exceptionality of humanity, generative order, epistemic fallibility, and technological humility. The work culminates in seven non-negotiable principles of survival, providing a philosophical, scientific, and institutional foundation for sustainable civilization. 自然文明;老–杨创世纪宇宙观;宇宙生成;生态约束;过程哲学;科学边界;技术节制 Natural Civilization; Lao–Yang Genesis Cosmology; Cosmic Generation; Ecological Constraint; Process Philosophy; Limits of Science; Technological Restraint
