philosophy
This work proves that the universal quartic variational functional necessarily generates a strictly positive, dimensionless, and non-degenerate spectral gap. At the unique globally admissible minimizer selected by the decisional operator, the Hessian possesses exactly two symmetry modes induced by the internal anti-self-adjoint operator Γ, while the next eigenvalue is strictly positive and structurally isolated. This constant, denoted Δₘᵢₙ, is not inserted, tuned, or phenomenologically motivated: it emerges entirely from the internal SU(2) torsional geometry of the quartic interaction. The analysis shows that all admissible excitations, mass scales, discrete frequencies, and atomic transitions derive from the spectral structure of the Hessian, independent of external assumptions, background geometry, or physical postulates. The universal spectral gap therefore represents the only parameter-free constant permitted by a self-consistent variational universe, and identifies the quartic framework as the unique mathematical structure capable of producing coherent physical reality.
