Persons not in formal education by match between skills and current/last main job and years since completion of highest level of education (2024)

The indicator measures the match between the skills and the requirements of their current or last main job of people aged 15-34 not in formal education. 'Skills' refer to the comprehensive set of knowledge, abilities, competences and experience that a person has gained as part of all their education, training, learning, internships and working activities. The information is broken down by sex, age, educational attainment level and years since completion of highest level of education. The indicator is based on the EU Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS) 8-yearly variables on "Young people on the labour market" surveyed in 2024.
