The Cascading Load of Layer Mismatch: Why Disciplinary and Everyday “Temperatures of Seeing” Prevent Unified Theory — An LMT Perspective
High-intelligence individuals and communities frequently experience cascading cognitive and emotional loads due to unrecognized mismatches in their foundational “layers of seeing” (Q⁺). Drawing on Load Minimization Theory (LMT), this paper analyzes how differences in disciplinary “temperatures” (Yoshino, 2026a) and everyday communication layers (factual, narrative, emotional) generate persistent prediction errors (U), friction (F), and energy dissipation (E). Such layer mismatches render unified theories structurally difficult under current academic and social frameworks. LMT offers a meta-Q⁺ framework that enables gentle layer recognition, reducing cascading load and opening pathways toward an-soku (relational rest).
